Six threads, one fabric of care.
Our themes are the ways communities have told us they want to be supported. Each one is a long conversation, not a project.
Our journey · since 2002
The seed of an idea
A small group of friends in Delhi begin weekend tuition classes for children in a nearby basti. No name, no plan — just a Sunday habit that refused to end.
An informal collective
The Sunday habit becomes a monthly pool of ₹500 each. Books, notebooks, one second-hand blackboard. Still no letterhead.
Beyond the classroom
First health camps and ration drives — organised out of a Hari Nagar living room, run entirely by volunteers.
First learning centre
Opened in a two-room space in North West Delhi, serving 60 first-generation learners with two teachers.
Circles of care
Launched maternal-health camps and the first women's support circles across six neighbourhoods.
Pandemic response
Distributed 42,000 ration kits, moved learning to community radio, and lost two friends we will not forget.
Livelihood cohort
First 120 women graduated from the tailoring & digital-literacy programme. 86% are still trading today.
Formally, Luv 2 Care Foundation
Registered as a Section 8 company in Delhi by Prerna Mishra and Rajesh — the same work, now with a letterhead.
Twenty-four years of quiet, community-first work.
Every act of care compounds.
Whether it's ₹500 or your Saturday morning — the work grows in the company you keep it.
